Only wines produced in the champenoise traditional method may be labelled “cava”. Almost 95% of all cava is produced in the Penedès area in Catalonia, with the village of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia being home to many of Catalonia’s largest production houses as well as to Carus Unum cava.

The Macabeu, Parellada and Xarello are the most popular and traditional grape varieties for producing cava. The properties and characteristics of Cava owe themselves to the soils of the vineyards, the varieties of grape used and the climate. Penedès wine region stretches from the Mediterranean coastline to the highest areas, at an altitude of approximately 800 m.

Carus Unum Cava Brut Rosé

This brut rosé cava is produced with the best Trepat D.O. Cava grapes.

With a strong pink colour, and good bubbles that form a cheerful crown of mousse.

Fruity and floral aromas in the mouth it is very pleasant.

Carus Unum Cava Brut

Pale yellow color with light green hues and small bubbles that end up forming a cheerful cromwn of mousse. It has a fresh aroma with peach and apricot notes.

In the mouth it is round, very pleasant with a final reminiscent to bakery and ripe fruit.

It is perfect as an aperitif and also to pair with a variety of dishes.

Pale yellow colour with a good bubbles formation. It has fruity and aging aromas and in the mouth it is dry, pleasant and round.

Thanks to its qualities, this cava is perfect to pair with fish dishes, soft cheeses, rice, smoked food and as an aperitif.
