Nowadays the largest Austrian wine producing region has finally gained it is international recognition. The success of Weinviertel is down to Grüner Veltliner and the regionally typical Weinviertel DAC and Weinviertel DAC Reserve wines.

The region is located in the State of Niederösterreich (Lower Austria) and with 13,356 hectares of vineyards makes up nearly a third (29.1%) of the combined area of all of Austria’s area under vines.

80% Grüner Veltliner, 20% Welschriesling.

Manufactoring process
Carefully selected wines from the well-known wine- growing regions Austria’s built the basis for this sparkling wine. With the modern technology there is a controlled cooled second Fermentation in the tank at 16- 18°C, in this way the fresh and fruit will be retained and promoted. After reaching the desired alcohol contents it makes the own fermentation carbonic at 6 bar push. For durability and drinking mature the sparkling wine is stored at least for 6 months. Then the Carus Unum is filtered and the contained residual sugar harmonized. After strict quality criteria filed into bottles closed with plastic cork and packaged into cartons.
